The police believe that a possible reprisal is behind Friday morning’s gun slaying of a Linstead woman, whose boyfriend was allegedly detained in connection to a recent murder.
Serena Needham, 33, was murdered at her home in Venecia in Linstead.
Police reports are that masked men, armed with rifles and handguns, invaded a house occupied by Needham and other persons about 2:00 am.
The men, claiming to be police officers, took the woman outside and shot her multiple times.
Several items were also stolen from the premises by the gunmen.
Police sources disclosed that Needham’s boyfriend was charged with murder recently and remains in custody.
