Where is Donna-Lee Donaldson, and why is the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) remaining silent on her disappearance?
Those are among the questions being asked by her loved ones, friends and other Jamaicans involved in her search. She has been missing for the past five days.
Donaldson, a 24-year-old social media influencer, was reportedly last seen leaving home with her boyfriend on Monday night.
Her boyfriend is a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
Based on television interviews with Donna-Lee’s family members, her boyfriend claimed that she left his apartment on Tuesday morning after an argument and he did not see her again.
Donna-Lee failed to turn up at home, and an alarm was raised and a missing person report subsequently filed.
There is another interesting development to the story, as the babymother of Donna-Lee’s boyfriend is said to be a district constable. She reportedly has not turned up to work.
There are also reports that the babymother and other persons went to the apartment where Donna-Lee was with her boyfriend.
Donna-Lee was reportedly on the phone with her brother, when a commotion was heard while she was at the apartment.
It is curious to many why the JCF has remained silent on the case, or detained the boyfriend or his babymother for questioning.
Family members also staged a peaceful march and protest for information on Donna-Lee’s disappearance from the police on Sunday morning.
