Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls on Thursday defeated netball giants Australia 57-55 to book their spots in the semi-finals of the netball competition at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
The win also sees Jamaica finishing Pool A on top.
The Sunshine Girls await to see who they will face in the semi-finals. England and New Zealand will play for top honours in Pool B.
Jhaniele Fowler led the scoring for the Jamaicans with 47 goals from 50 attempts.
