The police have imposed a 48-hour curfew in sections of Spanish Town, St Catherine, hours after a deadly gun attack which was captured on CCTV footage showing persons scampering to exit the scene of the shooting.
Two persons were reportedly killed in that shooting captured along Cumberland Road, which was apparently linked to an internal feud in the One Order gang.
A man was shot by police during a confrontation in the police in another section of the town.
There was also a fire at the administrative building of the courthouse in the old capital, which was brought under control by fire-fighters.
Though the fire damaged a section of the court’s roof, proceedings at the court will continue on Wednesday.
There is no evidence to say whether the fire was linked to the ongoing violence in Spanish Town.
