Two men were gunned down in Clarendon during separate incidents on Wednesday.
The deceased are 41-year-old fisherman Dameon Elliott, otherwise called ‘Fro Fro’, of Darrett Street in Milk River, and 27-year-old Jermaine Blackstock, otherwise called ‘Nick’, of Ritches, both in Clarendon.
In the first incident, Elliot was shot dead by unknown assailants at his home in Milk River.
According to the police, about 12:10 am Wednesday, residents heard explosions and alerted the police.
On their arrival, Elliot was found inside his house with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Blackstock was shot dead in Ritchies.
It is reported that about 7:55 a.m., Blackstock received a call and left home.
Moments later, residents heard explosions and went to investigate.
Blackstock was subsequently found along a roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.
The police were summoned and Blackstock was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating both incidents.
