Two 19-year-old men have been charged in connection with the killing of a policeman and a taxi operator in Big Lane, Central Village, St Catherine last year.
Andre Martin and Daniel Gillespie were charged Monday after being questioned by detectives assigned to the Major Investigation Division.
Both men are implicated in the fatal shooting of Corporal Delwin Jackson and Kenroy Chandler on August 17, 2021.
Investigators reported that Corporal Jackson was robbed of an undetermined sum of money, his Glock pistol and then killed when he went to Big Lane to purchase a motor vehicle.
The taxi operator who transported him was also killed.
The police are still searching for other suspects in the case, the Corporate Communications Unit said.
