The St Thomas police are probing the shooting deaths of a taxi driver and bartender in Seaforth, St Thomas on Saturday night.

Dead are 41-year-old Germaine Jeffrey and Denise Bell, 50, of Soho Hill, Seaforth in the parish.

The two were in a Subaru motorcar in their community of Soho Hill about 10:25 pm, when they were attacked by gunmen and shot multiple times.

They were pronounced dead at hospital.

Their killings followed Friday’s shooting death of female footballer Jedine Carr of Heartease, Yallahs in St Thomas, and 21 year-old taxi operator Andrew Mullings of Newlands in Yallahs.

Lawmen are probing both incidents.
