The official opening of the 2024 Olympics is just days away, and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) appears to be taking advantage of the opportunity by urging wanted men to “stop running” from the police.

“The only running we want to see this summer is our Jamaican athletes at the Paris Olympics,” said the JCF in its standard Wanted Wednesday’s post.

Borrowing the five Olympic rings, the police posted the photographs of five wanted men inside them, calling on such criminals to face prosecution.

“If you are wanted, stop running and  ketch you breath at the nearest blue and white building.

“We are asking the following person to get the mission started:

1. Romario ‘Kaka’ Grant

2. Derrick ‘Bush’ Johnson

3. Jermaine Lawrence

4. Andrew ‘Killer/Bounty’ Powell

5. Desmond‘Chuckku/Binds’ Kelly”

In concluding its post, the JCF urged members of the public to contact Crime Stop at 311 if they have information on the location of the wanted men.
