A 16-year-old boy who attends a prominent high school in St Elizabeth was on Tuesday charged with illegal possession of ammunition.
The teen’s identity is being withheld, as he is a juvenile under the law.
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), in a tweet, said the teen was found with a single 9mm round in his school bag.
He will answer to the charge in the St Elizabeth Family Court on Monday, June 27.
