Fast-rising Dancehall artiste Skeng was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) in Kingston on Tuesday.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force, in a brief statement on Twitter yesterday, said the 21-year-old artiste was charged with disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest, following an incident at the airport.

No additional details were provided.

Skeng, whose real name is Kevaun Douglas, is reportedly to answer to those charges in June.

Jam Street Journal understands that the artiste was on a flight to Trinidad when he was hauled off the plane for allegedly engaging in an argument with a Port Security official.

During the feud, he allegedly behaved in a disorderly manner.

Skeng is known for songs such as Gunman Shift and Protocol.
