Reggae singer Sevana pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving when she appeared in the Westmoreland Circuit Court on Monday.
The artiste, whose real name is Anna Blake, will be sentenced on November 17, by High Court judge, Justice Courtney Daye.
Attorney Everton Deward is representing the 30-year-old singer.
Her bail was ended until her sentencing hearing.
It was reported that in May of last year, Sevana was travelling along the Scott Cove main road in Whitehouse, Westmoreland, when the Honda City motor car she was driving collided with a Honda Fit going in the opposite direction.
Ordia Cordiel, who was in the Fit, sustained severe injuries and was admitted to the Black River Hospital. She died on May 30, 2021.
The police charged Sevana on June 1.
Among her recordings to date are Mango, Man Down and If You Only Knew.
