Gunmen struck in Bucknor, Clarendon on Tuesday night, killing a man and wounding two others at a bar on Rectory Road.
Dead is 29-year-old Troy Rosewell, a security guard and bar operator of Pearl Boulevard in Bucknor.
Another man and a woman were assisted to hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the individuals were at the bar when gunmen – claiming to be police – invaded the premises sometime after 9:00 pm.
They opened gunfire, which hit Rosewell in the upper body. The woman was also shot in the upper body, while the other man was shot in the leg.
The gunmen managed to depart the scene in a motor vehicle before the arrival of the police.
The victims were transported to the hospital, where Rosewell died and the woman was admitted.
The other wounded man was treated for his injuries and released.
Investigations are ongoing.
