The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting that a high-powered rifle is among two illegal firearms seized in Westmoreland on Thursday morning.
The seizures were made by the police’s
Joint Anti-Gang Task Force (JAGTF), which is currently conducting a major operation in Lennox Big Woods in Westmoreland.
The operation is ongoing.
The police are asking citizens who may have information on whereabouts of criminals in the area or other illegal firearms, to contact JAGTF at 876-224-4483 or the JDF Tipline at 876-837-8888.
