A pregnant woman was gunned down at her home in Little London, Westmoreland on Sunday.
The deceased is 32-year-old Lachia Grant, a chef of New Hope district, Little London in the parish.
Reports from the Little London police are that at about 4:10 pm, Grant was at home with her children when two men armed with handguns rode up on a motorcycle.
Further reports are that the gunmen had a brief conversation with her before opening gunfire, hitting her several times.
They hoodlums then fled the scene.
Police were summoned by residents, and on their arrival, Grant was seen on her back with gunshot wounds to her upper body.
She was pronounced dead at hospital.
No motive has been identified for the gun attack.
