A member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) assigned to the Portland Police Division died after he sustained injuries in a motor crash in Orange Bay in the parish on Monday morning.
The identity of the policeman was not released, as family members are yet to he notified.
Though the incident was confirmed by the police, no details were provided.
However, other sources told Jam Steeet Journal that the lawman was driving his motor car along the roadway when the crash occurred.
The policeman died at hospital later died at hospital after he was assisted by other motorists.
