The police have confirmed that one of the three men listed as persons of interest in connection with the murder of teen mom, Devanese Nelson, is in police custody.
Tevin Cross, the uncle of Nelson’s boyfriend, Eric ‘Brando’ Murdock, turned himself over to the police on Tuesday morning.
Information disclosed by Head of the Kingston Western Police, Senior Superintendent Michael Phillips, is that Cross is currently being questioned.
Murdock, the father of his 17-year-old girlfriend’s son remains at large.
Another man identified as Alejandro ‘Brandon’ Murdock, 17, also reined at large.
It was reported that Nelson, alias ‘Pinky’, as student of North Street, Kingston, was shot dead at her boyfriend’s home in Denham Town, West Kingston on Sunday night.
Police later found Nelson lying in the nude with a gunshot wounds to the head about 11:30 pm.
She was pronounced dead at hospital.
