The owner of Moon.10, a website known for posting graphic crime and sexual content, has faced intense backlash after sharing explicit images of popular male TikTokers, Jayden and Bams.

In response to the criticism, the owner took to a live on TikTok to deny allegations that he is gay.

“A money; it nuh mean mi uphold with unuh lifestyle… It nuh mean say mi a fish. A business,” he declared, emphasising that his website’s content is driven by financial motives rather than personal beliefs or lifestyle choices.

The owner explained that he allows his editors to post a wide range of content, including graphic murders and sexual content, which mainstream media often avoids. However, this defense has done little to quell the criticism, with many continuing to bash Moon.10 on social media.

“Too much buddy (penis) a post on the site,” said a male user of TikTok. 

“Can’t a post so much f**hy business on the website mi g, and some a the other porn tings,” another man commented. 

Said a woman: “I don’t mind the nastiness being posted, but sometimes it too much on Moon.10.”

In response to the ongoing backlash, the website owner has threatened to block Jamaicans from accessing his website. This move has sparked further debate, with some arguing that the website’s content is inappropriate and harmful, while others see it as an attempt to censor free speech.

The controversy surrounding Moon.10 has raised important questions about the role of online content creators, the boundaries of free speech, and the impact of explicit content on society.
