A mother and her young child are reportedly hospitalised after a gunmen sprayed bullets on a taxi in the Red Hills Road area of St Andrew on Wednesday morning.
Two of the men, including the taxi driver, who were also in the vehicle, have subsequently died.
Preliminary accounts are that the three persons and the taxi driver were travelling in the motor vehicle when gunmen opened fire, hitting all four persons.
The incident occurred sometime after 8:00 am.
The woman is said to be in stable condition, while the child is being treated for injuries to her legs.
The police are processing the scene at this time.
