The police are reporting that a mechanic has been charged with breaking into a house and stealing $500,000 in Pepper district, St Elizabeth.
Charged with house break-in and larceny is 26-year-old Marlon Reid, otherwise called ‘Nerd’, of Pepper district.
According to the police, about 5:21 p.m. on Monday, December 23, Reid allegedly broke into a house in his community and stole the money.
A report was made and an investigation was launched.
Reid was seen on surveillance footage and was later arrested and charged.
A date for his court appearance is being finalised, the police informed.
