Detectives in St Ann have charged a man who is alleged to have fatally stabbed a woman’s boyfriend after the two became engaged in a dispute over the said female on Sunday morning.
Roudare Harris, 34, has been charged with the murder of 20-year-old Qwon Campbell.
The incident allegedly occurred at a nightclub in Brown’s Town after Campbell allegedly saw his girlfriend and Harris inside the venue in a compromising position.
Enraged by what he saw, Campbell allegedly dragged the woman outside the club, where they continued to argue.
Harris later came on scene, and he intervened by using a knife to allegedly stab Campbell in the upper body.
The attacker fled the scene, while Campbell died at hospital.
Harris was eventually arrested and charged on Wednesday.
His court date is being finalised, the police said.
