The number of persons implicated in the fraud racket af the Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) has moved to six.
Sherene Farquarson appeared in the Home Circuit Court on Monday on fraud charges after turning herself over to the police last week.
Farquarson and her co-accused – former financial controller and popular ‘Chug It’ promoter Andrew Wright, Oneil Hope, Rudolph Barnes, Jonnique Mills, and Andrea Picton – are accused of defrauding INSPORTS of more than $222 million.
The bail application for the initial five charged, which was originally set for May 12, got underway on Monday.
Attorneys representing the six defendants are to continue their part-heard bail application on Friday.
Extradition requests are being prepared for three more suspects who are residing overseas.
