Dancehall entertainer Spice has declared that she is not pregnant, but has been gifted a “new life” following her recent health challenges that may have likely killed her.
In an Instagram Live on Friday, the recording artiste says she felt as if she had “literally died” after battling major sepsis and hernia challenges.
“I am honoured to he given a second chance at life. Fast forward to the photo I posted where I appeared to be pregnant. I never said I was pregnant. I said God has been good to me and that photo is just me celebrating my second chance at life,” Spice said.
The 40-year-old revealed that she had a hernia, which became infected, leading to sepsis.
Spice has since kept a low profile on social media, emerging just this week to tease a third pregnancy.
In opening up about her health scare, Spice said she was hospitalised between October and December 2022, and came very close to death’s door.
The artiste said she went into hospital weighing 200 pounds and lost 35 pounds, because she could not eat naturally and was being fed via her neck.
Overall, Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, said she did four surgeries and thanks God that she survived.
The Dancehall Queen indicated that she has fully recovered and is ready to begin performing once more.
