Music legends Dionne Warwick and Mary J. Blige will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2024 class, the organisation announced.
Warwick, the renowned pop and soul singer, will receive the Musical Excellence Award for her “originality and influence” in creating music that “dramatically impacted” the industry.
Blige, known as the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul,” joins the elite group as a performer inductee for her groundbreaking blend of hip-hop and soul that paved the way for future artists.
The induction ceremony will be held on October 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio and streamed live on Disney+.
It will air later on ABC and be available the next day on Hulu.
