Female student rescued after climbing on roof at Queen’s School

A female student who climbed the roof of a classroom at the Queen’s High School in St Andrew on Tuesday morning, has since been rescued by school officials. 

The circumstances surrounding why the child climbed to the top of the classroom building is unclear.

The incident reportedly occurred sometime after 11am.

A teacher and another student assisted in getting the teenager down from the building. 

A video obtained by Jam Street Journal shows when the individual, said to be a teacher, was seen embracing the female student.

The moment the child is rescued

Reports are she was assisted from the roof shortly after. 

The police are reportedly at the school at this time.
