Dad, son among 3 killed in deadly land feud in Clarendon

A family feud in Clarendon reportedly over a plot of land has turned deadly, resulting in the deaths of three family members, including a father and son. 

In the first incident on Monday relative to the family feud, 40-year-old taxi operator, Kenrick Francis, was gunned down at his home near Springfield in Clarendon. 

A day later, his stepmother along with his father, who has been identified as 61-year-old Evan Francis, were shot and killed on Duke Street in Toll Gate, Clarendon.

Preliminary reports suggest that about 6:00 pm on Tuesday, the couple returned home in separate motor vehicles. 

The elder Francis exited his car to open the gate, when he was pounced upon by armed hoodlums. He was shot multiple times, while his female partner was also shot. 

The couple later succumbed to their injuries. 

A high level probe has been launched into the killings by the Clarendon police.
