The crime-plagued Central Village area in Spanish Town has been rocked by yet another murder.
An unidentified man was shot dead while two other men were injured in the latest gun attack on Monday night.
The incident occurred in an area of Central Village known as Zambia close to 10:00 pm.
The individuals were reportedly walking along a dirt track when they were ambushed by gunmen and shot.
The injured individuals were assisted to hospital, where one of them died. The condition of the other too men were not ascertained.
The latest gun attack came days after 59-year-old Marcia Dillon was shot dead at her mother’s wake in Central Village.
Gunmen had reportedly gone in search of one of Dillion’s relative, but he was not located. The woman was subsequently killed.
That incident remains under police probe.
