Excitement is building for the Intimate Concert, featuring reggae legends Buju Banton and Beres Hammond, scheduled to take place at Plantation Cove on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
As fans gear up for an unforgettable evening, the St Ann Police Division is urging patrons to prepare for traffic congestion and enhanced security measures.
Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell advised attendees to plan their journeys carefully, citing expected significant traffic increases on major roadways in the parish.
“We anticipate substantial support for this event, which will likely result in excessive traffic and delays on roadways in the division,” Powell stated.
“We are asking patrons to factor in additional time for their travel arrangements to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience,” he added.
To ensure a secure and enjoyable environment, strategic deployments will be in place to manage traffic flow and address any security concerns. Patrons are encouraged to follow instructions from law enforcement officers and exercise patience and cooperation.
Powell emphasised the importance of public cooperation, saying, “The success of this event requires the full cooperation of attendees. Together, we can ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone.”
The Intimate Concert promises to be a memorable evening, with Buju Banton and Beres Hammond taking the stage alongside other talented artists, including Marcia Griffiths, Wayne Wonder, Romain Virgo, Bugle, and Empress Ayeola.
With fans traveling from across the island and beyond, attendees are reminded to arrive early, park in designated areas, and refrain from disruptive activities.
