A security guard is expected to be charged in relation to Saturday’s explosion of two Scotia Bank ABMs in Port Antonio, Portland.

The guard remains under police guard at hospital after he received several injuries allegedly sustained during the blast. 

Despite being in hospital, it is understood that the guard gave a statement in which he confessed to several crimes. 

Information reaching Jam Street Journal is that while giving a statement under caution, the security guard told the police he destroyed the two ABMs by setting it ablaze.

When the ABMs caught fire, something exploded, injuring the security guard who was later found in an incinerator at the back of the building.

The guard reportedly confessed that he set the ABMs on fire after he learnt that they were to be audited.

He reportedly admitted to stealing funds from the the financial institution to pay off an obeah man in relation to services he had provided for the guard to get back his ex-girlfriend.

The police are also searching for the obeah man at this time.
