Vybz Kartel’s highly anticipated Freedom Street Concert featured many high quality performances, with legendary deejay Rodney ‘Bounty Killer’ Pryce sharing the stage with the once incarcerated entertainer.
“Happy new life!” declared Pryce over Kartel.
Pryce heaped praises on the ‘World Boss’ entertainer, describing him as “phenomenal”.
“I don’t want you to feel like you are taking nobody’s throne (as King of the Dancehall). You build your own, independently. The only man round yah weh never sign to an international label a sell gold and silver (records),” Pryce indicated.
In response, Kartel said: “We learn from the best!”
The duo then performed their hit songs, tune for tune, sending the thousands of patrons into a frenzy.
