The Queen B, Beyonce, and Sean Paul’s hit collab ‘Baby Boy’ has been certified platinum in the United Kingdom, 19 years after it was released.
The song, first released in 2003, was also certified Platinum in the United States last year.
It spent 29 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, nine of which were at No.1, as well as 17 weeks on the UK Official Singles Chart, where it peaked at No. 2.
The single was also Beyonce’s longest-running No. 1 single in the United States, until 2007 when it was surpassed by Irreplaceable surpassed .
Sean Paul’s ‘Get Busy’ and ‘Temperature’ were also platinum-certified singles.
