A barber was killed and two other men wounded after gunmen opened gunfire along Winward Way, Kingston 2 on Saturday night.
Dead is 46-year-old Aubrey Myers, otherwise called ‘Dangles’, of a Windward Way address.
The police’s Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported that the three victims were on the roadway playing a game of cards at approximately 10 pm when a motorcycle with two men aboard approached them.
It is alleged that the pillion disembarked the motorcycle and opened gunfire at the men before both made their escape.
The police were summoned and all three victims were transported to the hospital where Myers was pronounced dead.
The other two men were admitted in stable condition.
