Public commentator and attorney-at-law, Danielle Archer, has been appointed Principal Director of National Integrity Action (NIA).
Archer has been a member of the board of directors since 2019, according to a statement from NIA.
Archer’s appointment as the leader of the 11-year-old non-profit organization takes effect on today.
The appointment follows the resignation of Professor Trevor Munroe, who founded and has led the organization since inception.
The board says it is pleased that Munroe has agreed to continue to serve the NIA as a board director and consultant.
The NIA says with his regular newspaper columns, appearances on radio and television, speaking engagements locally and overseas, and work with communities, youths, and various national institutions, Munroe and the team have built Jamaica’s integrity profile at home and abroad.
The NIA expressed its gratitude to Munroe for his exemplary and fearless leadership, and his most distinguished service.
