Jamaican murder accused and alleged Spanish Town-based gang leader, Rudolph Shaw, has been deported from the Cayman Islands to the island.

Shaw, otherwise called ‘Boxer’ or ‘Boxa’, was deported to Jamaica on Wednesday, a tweet from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) said.

The JCF said more information will be provided soon.

Shaw, who has been linked to the recent flare-up of violence in Spanish Town, was arrested in Cayman on July 8 when the car he was travelling in rammed a police vehicle during a chase.

The police said he was also wanted in connection with several murders and shootings in St Catherine.

Shaw managed to elude capture before leaving Jamaica by boat.
