A decision in the murder appeal of Vybz Kartel, now before the United Kingdom’s Privy Council, could be known later this fall, but the incarcerated entertainer, in the interim, has apparently found new love.

For months the deejay has been uploading photographs of the Caucasian woman, teasing that love might be in the air.

Fox 5 New York’s Lisa Evers sat down with Kartel’s fiancée, Sidem Ozturk, who shared how she left her job as a social worker in London, England, to come to Jamaica to be with her love.

“He’s smart. I love his heart; he’s got an amazing heart. He’s so giving; he’s so loving. I like to call him my angel. He’s an angel in my life, and I can’t deny the way he makes me feel and how happy he makes me feel. So, to actually be here, in Jamaica, engaged to Addi is a dream come true. I still haven’t processed it properly in my head,” she said.

There’s no engagement ring, however.

Ozturk said she did not want one, opting instead for the two to tattoo their names on their ring fingers one day.

Though no ring is on her finger, the British woman claimed the so-called engagement occurred during an authorised visit at a correctional facility where Kartel is being held for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

Kartel’s lawyer, Isat Buchanan, has indicated that a British forensic digital expert confirmed there had been evidence tampering.

“We are asking the Privy Council to throw out the conviction, and the men, all 5, declaring their innocence, and to add that several things went wrong in the trial,” Buchanan told Fox 5’s Lisa Evers.

Both Ozturk and Kartel believe Jamaica’s highest court will overturn his conviction and sentence.

Kartel’s long-time girlfriend and babymother, Tanesha ‘Shorty’ Johnson, was not mentioned in the interview.

The two have reportedly split but remain cordial, Jam Street Journal sources suggest.
