The boyfriend of missing social media influencer, Donna-lee Donaldson, has been charged with murder.
The Police High Command made the disclosure a short while ago at a Jamaica Constabulary Force press conference.
Constable Noel Maitland was slapped with murder charges on Tuesday afternoon, according to Deputy Commissioner in charge of crime, DCP Fitz Bailey.
He says that while the body has not been discovered, the police believe that she is dead based on scientific evidence.
Donna-Lee has been missing since Tuesday, July 12. She was reported missing to the police a day later.
She was last seen in leaving her home with the her policeman boyfriend on Monday night. He claimed that after argument with Donna-Lee, she left Tuesday morning, and he has not seen her since.
But DCP Bailey said he suspects that Donna Lee was killed sometime after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12.
He says he hopes the body will be found, adding that the police are not yet able to say why she was killed.
