Fast-rising Dancehall artiste EleganceGad was shot dead in Manchester early Wednesday morning.
The entertainer, who is reportedly based in St Elizabeth, was killed in Russell’s Place in Manchester.
The incident occurred sometime after 2:00 am Wednesday.
He was reportedly seated inside his car when he was pounced upon and shot several times by unknown assailant(s).
There are conflicting reports about whether a woman who was seated inside the vehicle also received gunshot wounds.
A motive for the killing has not been determined.
EleganceGad is known for songs such as Mind Games, So Fly, Ready Fi, Insanity, and Story.
