The rural south Manchester community of Turner Top is reeling after a 15-year-old boy was shot dead by gunmen at his home on Saturday night.
He has been identified as Vesteroy Sinclair, otherwise called ‘Vesta’, or ‘Jay’.
Vesteroy is a student of the New Forest High School in Manchester.
Information into the killing remains sketchy at this time.
Residents report that gunmen attempted to rob a patron at a shop owned by the teen’s mother. She fled inside the house, but was chased by the gunmen.
Vesteroy was reportedly awaken and was shot during a struggle with the culprits.
