Lawmen in the St Elizabeth Police Division intercepted a motor vehicle on the Holland Bamboo main road in the parish and recovered two stolen goats on Saturday morning.
The two occupants of the motor car ran from the vehicle during the stop.
The owner of the goats has since identified the animals, which were stolen from Springfield district, St Elizabeth.
Investigations continue.
