Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak dominated this year’s staging of the BET Awards by taking home the most wins.
The group won Best Group, Album of the Year, Video of the Year, and Video Director of the Year.
In the Best R&B/Pop categories, the ever-soulful Jazmine Sullivan and The Weeknd won awards.
The Hip Hop categories saw Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar copping awards, as well.
Kirk Franklin, who won the Gospel/Inspirational Award, gave his trophy to Maverick City Music.
Other winners included Mary J. Blige, Naomi Osaka, Steph Curry, Zendaya, Will Smith, Marsai Martin, and Latto.
The BET Awards, which first aired in 2001, are a celebration of the year’s best in black music and entertainment.
