The St Ann police arrested three men and seized two vehicles after they were caught stealing fiber optic cables in the parish on Sunday.
Over weekend sections of the parish were significantly affected by outages due to the theft of fiber optic cables from a telecommunications service provider.
Meanwhile, the police are urging citizens to immediately report the theft/vandalism of this critical resource, which not only affects the service providers, but poses a real threat to National security and public health.
