A municipal police officer was killed after his common-law wife allegedly stabbed him to death during a physical confrontation at their home in Burnt Ground, Green Meadows in Clarendon.
Dead is 30-year-old Keanie McDonald.
Preliminary accounts are that McDonald and the woman were in an argument between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Monday.
She used an implement to stab her alleged spouse several times.
McDonald was pronounced dead at hospital.
Detectives are searching for the woman at this time.
