A man is dead and eight other persons wounded following Saturday morning’s mass shooting in the community of Donmair, also known as Commons, which is located off Red Hills Road in St Andrew.
The identity of the deceased has was not disclosed.
Preliminary reports suggest that persons were gathered on the road when the gunmen struck shortly after midnight.
They were assisted to hospital, where the man succumbed to his injuries.
Police are trying to determine the cause of the gun attack, though gang violence is suspected.
