The police are trying to determine whether a decomposed body found in bushes in Bullet Tree district in Old Harbour, St Catherine on Sunday, is that of a missing man.
Jason Miller, 24, also from Bullet Tree, has been missing since May 18.
A police blotter said Miller left home shortly before 8:00 pm on May 18 for an undisclosed location, but had not been seen since.
On Sunday, the decomposed body was found.
Residents of the community believe that the of Miller, but a post mortem and other forensic tests are to determine the true identity of the deceased individual.
