A supermarket owner is hospitalised after he was stabbed multiple times during an attempted robbery at his establishment in Lucea, Hanover on Monday morning.
The attacker was apprehended by the police.
Preliminary reports are that about 11:30 am, a man went to the supermarket and tried to leave with several food supplies without paying.
The owner protested and a heated exchange develop between the two individuals.
The would-be robber then pulled a knife and allegedly stabbed the owner.
An alarm was raised and the police arrived at the scene, apprehendeding the culprit.
