Latoya Ameik Spence, the wife of dancehall star Konshens, has been found after she was reported missing on Wednesday.
The City of Miami Police Department Special Victims Unit found the missing 41-year-old pregnant woman at a local hospital.
According to police, Spence was last seen in the Edgewater area on Monday at around 3 p.m. driving a 2017 Matte Black Jeep Wrangler with oversized tires.
In a Instagram post on Wednesday, Konshens confirmed that his wife was located.
“She has an accident and got admitted without my knowledge,” wrote the dancehall veteran.
“Realising she was not responding to calls and texts, I started calling around to hospitals. After calling all hospitals in the area and them all saying no patient by that name was there, I had no choice but to alert the police,” he said.
According to him, the police did their own search and realised that she was hospitalised.
However, by that time, the news alert was already activated.
“Many thanks for all the calls and prayers. She is now in recovery with no serious injuries. Give thanks,” wrote Konshens.
He appealed for privacy at this time, as his family was going through a difficult period.
