Aspiring Trelawny dancehall artiste, Crown Boss, was shot dead at a motel in Claremont, St Ann on the weekend.
The 27-year-old artiste, whose real name is Demaro Peynado, was from Spicy Hill, Trelawny, but he had reportedly fled the community following the murder of a man and the injuring of a woman in February.
According to reports, Peynado had reportedly checked into a motel in Claremont, located in south east St Ann, on Friday night.
The following morning workers at the motel found the entertainer’s bullet-riddled body, and alerted the police.
A motive for the killing has not been determined.
Peynado is best known for his 2020 collaboration with St Ann dancehall star Jahvillani, entitled ‘Money Cya Done’.
