Rushawn Patterson, the suspect charged in connection with the October 2022 murder of popular social media influencer Aneika ‘Slickianna’ Townsend, was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Dundee Pen community of Hanover. Patterson was taken to the Noel Holmes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding Patterson’s death are still unclear, but the incident marks a dramatic turn in the case involving the murder of Slickianna, who had a significant following on social media.
