According to the Meteorological Service of Jamaica, a trough across the region is expected to bring unstable weather conditions across the island for most of this week.
Beginning Tuesday morning, showers and thunderstorms will affect most parishes, especially in the east. This is expected to continue throughout Tuesday into Friday.
Sea conditions are also expected to deteriorate during the inclement weather.
Therefore, fisherfolk are being warned to monitor sea conditions.
This is exciting news for especially farmers in St Elizabeth, St Ann, Manchester, and Clarendon suffering from the lack of rainfall.
