Toshami Calvin, Jamaica’s representative at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant, rocked the stage at Wednesday night’s preliminaries in New Orleans, United States.
Among her dazzling performance was the unveiling of the national costume – an ode to Nanny of the Maroons, the island’s only National Heroine.
Calvin also rocked the swimsuit competition, wearing a cape that represented her passion for being an advocate for persons living with autism.
Her radiance was on full display in a stunning brown dress during the evening gown portion, sending pageant enthusiasts into a frenzy.
Saturday night, the Top 16 will be revealed, and many are hoping that Calvin’s strong performance on stage, along with her closed-door interview score, will be enough to compete for the crown during the final competition.
Best of luck Toshami!
