The police are probing the death of a Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldier, who is believed to have committed suicide in Somerton District, St James on Saturday night.
He has been identified as 26-year-old Anthony Willocks.
Preliminary reports are that the soldier sent his girlfriend photographs indicating that he would harm himself.
Relatives were sent the photographs and were reportedly able to identify the abandoned building Willocks was in Somerton District.
When the family arrived sometime after 9:00 pm, Willocks’ lifeless body was found.
